From 1–12 June 2025, our head of fruit production at Kalos Farming, Ian Cilliers, had the exciting opportunity to travel to Spain and Italy as part of the SFF technical team. The purpose of the tour was to explore the latest advancements in fruit production technology, discover new cultivars, and learn more about innovative growing practices across Europe.
The trip was a great success, offering valuable insights into how global producers are adapting to changing climates and market demands. The group gained practical knowledge that will be brought back and applied here at Kalos Farming.
